  • How The Journey Began

What inspired V O Y A G E…   As mothers and sisters-in-law, we've shared countless conversations about the joy, wonder, and magic that define childhood. It's a fleeting, precious time that deserves to be celebrated and preserved.  As we were sitting together after dinner one night discussing just this- the impermanence of youth- we hatched V O Y A G E.   We talked about clothes for our own kids that represent the simplicity and playfulness of being a child.  We dreamed up designs that would allow kids to be kids, unburdened by the constraints of overly stiff or restrictive styles,...

  • Travelogue - NOLA

Driving into the 300 year old city, I’m reminded of why I love it; it looks like nowhere else in America.  The crumbling walls, shuttered windows of colorful Creole cottages and mysterious courtyard gardens with scrolled iron gates, makes me want to live here, even if only for a short time.  I love history, architecture, gardens and antiques.  I’m a romantic and New Orleans appeals to all of my romantic sensibilities. We are only here for two days this time, but I have a few places I want to hit.  We are staying at the Hotel Peter & Paul in...

  • A Winter Wonderland: Vail’s Enchanting Charms

I’ll admit, I was tired getting on that plane. We had just worked several very long days in a row, and Iwas missing my family fiercely. But I was immediately filled with Christmas spirit the second I stepped into magical Vail and reunited with my little family. Vail in any season is one of our favorite stops, but Vail at Christmastime is something quite special, especially with the ones you love the most. Here are a few of our favorite ways to spend our time in Vail! Snowmobiling to Lake Penny Skiing is priority number one for the kids, but...

  • The Palm Beach Diaries

Just before Christmas, Kelsey and I traveled to sunny Palm Beach to be a part of Filipa de Abreu’s 2nd annual holiday pop-up event at Danielle Rollins’ Pop West Palm.   We checked into the darling pink paradise that is The Colony, and it did not disappoint! The lobby, decorated by Kemble Interiors, features a custom de Gournay wallpaper, inspired by a vintage postcard discovered by owner Sarah Wetenhall.  The pink floor-to-ceiling jungle mural depicts flora and fauna in whimsical Palm Beach style and delights with playfully perched tropical birds, lurking alligators, and diamond-adorned panthers.   Once up to our...
